Team members

Invite a colleague with their own email address so they can help run your events. They choose their own password. You do not share yours.

This is separate from door staff. Door staff sign in to the Admissions app with a name and PIN, and they can only check people in.

Open Settings, then Team members, or go to ticketlab.app/settings/team.

Send an invitation

Under Invite a team member, enter their first name, surname and email address, then press Send invitation.

They get an email with the subject “Ticketlab: You’ve been invited to a team account”. Accept invitation opens a page where they set a password of at least 8 characters. They then sign in at ticketlab.app/login and see your events.

The link lasts 24 hours. Until they set a password, the status is Invitation pending. After they accept, it changes to Active.

If the email does not arrive

On their row, press Resend invite, and ask them to check spam. A resend replaces the old link, so use it when the first one has expired.

Re-invite does the same thing for someone you previously revoked.

What an active team member can do

There is one level of access. Everyone you invite can do the same event work.

They sign in with their own email and work on your account. They can create and edit events, clone an event, use the allocation list, find a booking, export ticket lists, and message attendees. They can also add door staff logins for the Admissions app.

Settings they change, such as default terms, optional donations, events pages and the website embed, save on your account.

They can see who else is on the team. They cannot invite anyone, and they cannot revoke access. The page says only the primary account holder can do that.

Change email address in their own settings changes their login. It does not change yours.

Sale notification emails still go to the account owner’s address.

What only the account owner can do

Only the primary account holder can:

  • Invite or revoke team members
  • Connect Stripe, open the Stripe Express Dashboard, or change bank details. See Getting paid after your event
  • Enrol in Lab Partner
  • Turn on Show email addresses for guests

On screen, guest email addresses stay hidden from team members. A ticket export still has an email column, so a downloaded file includes those addresses.

Team members can open payout statements. They cannot change how you get paid.

An email that is already in use

Each email address can belong to one Ticketlab login.

“That email address is already registered” means that person already has a Ticketlab account. Invite a different email address.

“That email address is already an active team member” means they are already on your account.

Remove access

Press Revoke on their row and confirm. Their login stops working straight away. The row stays in the list as Revoked.

To let them back in, press Re-invite. They get a new email and set a password again.

Door staff

Use a team member when someone needs to manage events with you. Use a door staff login when someone only needs to scan tickets on the night. See the Admissions app.
